Here is my final college magazine front cover and contents page.
From looking closely at my front cover, you will notice that this magazine is very feminine; this is because of the colour scheme, font and the main image. I decided to make a pastel colour because I notice that the majority of the target audience is mostly female which lead me to this colour scheme. However, the font scheme of this magazine is bold and in block capitals which creates a feeling of masculinity.
Therefore this is a balance from being too feminine which means that males can also involved in the magazine. Moreover this is a weekly magazine which means that the theme of the magazine will be changed all the time and therefore every gender will be involved. The background of the magazine is the original image; I have chosen this because I found it more professional than to just edit the background to be on one colour. For the main cover line and cover lines, I decided to put them around the middle of the page because I do not want the image to be over flooded by text. If there are too many words, it could give a boring appearance, which this could make it unattractive.

As you can see, the contents page of
Paradox magazine is completely different style from the front cover. The contents
page looks very strong and aggressive, whereas the front cover looks more soft and sweet.
This highlights that females are emotional and unique.
